VoiceNote is run by [Company name], [address], [country] (“we”). This page explains what we collect when a Discord server uses VoiceNote, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: [privacy email].
What we collect
- Call audio, only after someone in the server types
/record. VoiceNote announces in the channel that it is recording. Each speaker is captured separately. - Transcripts, summaries, tasks and decisions produced from that audio, and the Discord names and ids of the people in the call.
- Messages in the text channels a server admin chooses for Radar (Pro plan only). Never other channels, never direct messages.
- Your Discord id, name, avatar and the list of servers you are in when you sign in to the dashboard, to show you only the servers you share with VoiceNote.
- Billing details are handled by Whop, our payment provider. We receive which server is paid for and the state of the subscription, never your card.
Why
Only to provide the service the server asked for: turning calls into summaries and a task list, and letting members connect their own Claude to it. We do not sell data, show ads, or use your calls to train models.
Who processes it for us
- OpenAI — speech-to-text of the call audio.
- Anthropic — writing summaries and recognising tasks and decisions.
- Supabase — database and file storage.
- Vercel — hosting of this website and the dashboard.
- Whop — payments and subscriptions.
How long we keep it
Call audio is deleted after 30 days. Transcripts, summaries, tasks and decisions are kept until the server removes VoiceNote and asks us to delete them, or you ask us to. Radar keeps the messages it read next to the tasks they produced; a message deleted in Discord is deleted from VoiceNote too.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete it, by writing to [privacy email]. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
